Photography found me. I actually had no intention of being a photographer or going into the art field when I was deciding what to do with my life. Loving the arts, always finding myself doing creative things and taking a multitude of art classes on the side, I just never thought I could be fortunate enough to support my family being an artist. I knew I loved health and nutrition at a young age so I became a dietitian and specialized in the diabetes field for over a decade.

As I was planning my wedding several years ago and looking for a photographer, I met my wedding photographer. I was one of those obsessed brides who just poured over wedding photos, magazines, inspiration, etc. After my wedding, I still found myself just loving weddings and especially photography. Our wedding photos made us laugh, cry, and grow even closer as we looked through our album and had the photos displayed in our first home together.

A few months after our wedding, my photographer was looking for interns and I jumped all over the opportunity! After assisting with a few weddings, immediately she saw talent in me that could not be taught- it was innate. I was an Associate Photographer for 7 years and was the lead photographer for my weddings. I loved when my brides would tell me how tears would flow when they first saw their wedding photos. It was such an honor to be a part of such an emotional experience.

Late in 2012, I decided to take the next step and to go out on my own with Amy Campbell Photography. Even after photographing weddings for years, I still get excited photographing really creative weddings with amazing details! I still tear up during toasts or father daughter dances and get filled with immeasurable joy when hear from a bride she is speechless and in tears after first seeing her photos. I feel so honored and blessed when a couple has chosen me to capture their wedding through my eyes.

I am a wife and mother of an amazing 12 year old son and 10 year old girl. I love to learn about people, visit new places, enjoy amazing foods with unique flavors, and constantly striving to better myself and the world around me.

If my work moves you, I accept a limited number of weddings every year and would LOVE to hear from you!

My Best,
Amy
